A platform game in which must collect her lost chicks and lead them home, represented as a door marked ''. Players must watch out for the cats which emerge from cat-flaps and proceed to roam the levels. If has any direct contact with a cat, the player will lose a life; any chicks that are touched by a cat will be separated from and must again be retrieved. The platforms of each level are littered with objects - such as plant pots, hammers and trumpets - that can be picked up and thrown at the cats to knock them out.

The character also appears in the game, "Bloxeed". A Sega coin-op version of this game is also known to exist for the Sega System 16 hardware. The birds that are rescued by Sonic in his many Sega Magadrive platform outings are 'Flickies', and are identical in appearance to the original . Also; tags along with Sonic in the Sega megadrive/Saturn game, "Sonic 3D 's Island"; more widely known as "Sonic 3D Blast".
